Our house is a very clean, pet free/smoke free home, so my standard for their work was very high. They respected the environment by wearing booties in the house, laying mats down on the floor where any cables would be laying and they also placed door edge guards so not to scuff any paint/trim work. They described what they were going to do and how long it was going to take. They also showed me pictures of my intake duct before it was cleaned and showed me after pics too. Amazing! I also needed a rodent pee smell out of one of my inflow vents that had been previously cleaned. They put in a sanitizing product in the vent and throughout the entire system. Within 24 hrs the smell was gone! One thing I also like about this company is they picked up the phone when I initially called to make an apt. I called two other companies who didn’t pick up and one never even called me back.
Their team made quick work of replacing stinky carpet in the bedroom of my apartment. Cheerful, quick work and cleaned up very well afterwards. Highly recommend them.

He was also very careful about our furnishings and other items, so as not to cause any inadvertant damage. We will have this company come whenever we need this kind of service and we HIGHLY recommend them. Oh, and their pricing was very good too.

From the initial contact (Trina) to the duct cleaning completion (Mike and Dean/Don), the process was flawless. We had never had our mid century home’s ducts cleaned, so I asked a lot of questions. Trina was very patient and answered all of them. She told me they may not be able to clean our ducts if we had the kind with louvers in them; I appreciated her honesty. Once the guys were here, they were polite, friendly, and efficient. They determined that our ducts were the kind that could be cleaned with their machinery and they got right to work. These ducts have probably never ever been cleaned, but they were no match for Dr. Carpet's truck mount vac system. Trina was super helpful and knowledgeable when I called to get information and schedule my appointment. Dean was the tech who arrived to do the cleaning and he was on-time, professional and knowledgeable. He gave me some tips on improvements I could make to the ducts to make them easier to clean and care for. I will use them to clean the ducts at my main residence as well as recommend them to anybof my Real Estate clients who need this service. 🙂

It made a tremendous difference in the air quality at our home. They even sucked a tape measure out of our ductwork that had probably been there for quite awhile. Very happy with their price and professionalism.
We have a traditional heating system and the ducts thru the house have never been cleaned. I assume they were cleaned well, since Dean had to empty his receptacle once. The dryer vent was cleaned very well, too. Dean was friendly and offered some good advice. My only complaint was that the furniture moved was not returned to its original location and I had to vacuum in the areas he worked.

Dean did a great job! He showed up on time, and was very nice. He explained a lot of things, and made some recommendations. Even if your house is brand new, you should have the ducts cleaned. He pulled out an old water bottle that had been sprayed with paint, that was probably there since construction in 2006. He also cleaned our dryer vent, and replaced the louver cover. Definitely get this done.

Just got a puppy and you know what that mean a lot of accidents. Was having a really bad pee smell in this particular area. Not only is the smell gone, my carpets came back all fluffed up. Overall great experience and happy with the service, staff are super professional, and would recommend 100%.
Wonderful n this new world to find a company that performs! 2 guys were 2-3 minutes early with masks and booties on! 10 minute look around at system and carpets cleaning areas, counting vents and looking for stains etc. to make sure what was wanted was what was ordered and quoted. So they started and ZOOM they did the furnace ducts first. Wife, dog and I just kept out of the way. Then the carpet cleaning ZOOM that was done.. had minimal to move as I had gotten most junk picked up so as not be broken etc. No problem as they moved the big stuff to do a complete job! 2 1/2 hour they were done ... foyer, hall, master bedroom, living/dining room. The drying took longer than 6-8 hours, but its winter! It wasn't a problem... we went out for dinner to celebrate nice guys and a great job we had put off for far too long! I recommend them highly and will use them on any of my rentals as they come vacant!
Mike & Dean did a great job in not only cleaning out our dryer ducting system, but in explaining how the specific design used in the ducting has potential to cause issues. They stuck with this difficult to clean system until it was clear and clean. I would recommend them for any of the services they offer.
Mike and Don arrived on Friday on time and were very cordial. They explained to me how the air duct cleaning would be done. They wore booties over their shoes and placed wall guards on some of the corners so their vacuum hoses wouldn't rub on the corner. They both went right to work and did a great job! Troy responded to my request for a quote right away and had me scheduled shortly thereafter. Mike and Don arrived right on time and ready to work. Not only were they knowledgeable and treated my home with care and respect but they were also not judgmental at the horrific state my ducts were in. I was astonished and mortified at just how filthy they were yet Don and Mike maintained a professional attitude mixed with just enough good-natured humor to somehow get me through the process. They worked so hard in the time they were here and I could immediately tell the difference. My house has never smelled so fresh and clean and I can't wait to see how much my allergies improve. I love the fact that their quotes and charges are based my house's square feet instead of the number of the ducts. Mike and Don did a great job. I also found them to be informative and helpful during the whole process.
They were on time and walked thru the house told me what was gonna be done then went straight to work. They showed me before and after all I can say is Wow what a difference.. Our house smelled like a campfire after the recent wildfires, so we wanted to get our air ducts cleaned thoroughly. We had used Dr. Carpet many years ago, and since our house is WAY off the beaten path, it's hard to find someone to come out for service. I could tell right away they had their act together. The dispatcher asked great questions like "can we find your house on a nav system", and "do you have cell service at your house". (Yes, and no.) Most people don't think to ask those questions, which can cause a lot of headaches. Also they called to confirm the night before--very thoughtful because I had completely forgotten! The technicians (Mike and Dean) were right on time, wearing masks and gloves, as well as shoe coverings. They worked around my home-office meeting schedule so I didn't have to worry about noise during critical parts where I needed to be speaking to my coworkers. I couldn't believe the stuff they found in my air ducts! (Pictured below, NOT including the dead mouse.) They also showed me pictures of the insides of my ducts, including a few areas that need replacing (they don't do that kind of work, but it's great to know, I would have never thought about that). And finally they made some suggestions about replacing my air filters in a few weeks. I appreciated that they never once tried to upsell me on anything. The total charge was exactly as quoted. Overall my experience was professional, friendly and helpful, I would definitely use them again.

I recently bought my home in Salem, OR, and decided that I should have my air ducts cleaned. I could not believe my ears when the crew, Mike and Dan, ran the vacuum! It sounded like a giant rain stick because there was so much debris in the vents that Dan had to vacuum each one for a while. He then ran the scrubber brush to get the rest of it! So worth the money because I don't think those ducts were ever cleaned as we even found a Goody brand hair comb in the vents from the 80's! An antique treasure in the air vents but sure glad the comb is not in my vents any longer! I can't say enough about them- they explained what they had to do and were very careful, even placing corner guards on the wall to protect the wall from the large vacuum hose. All this to say, if you haven't cleaned your air vents, do it before winter starts and don't hesitate to call this company- I highly recommended them!!

Dr. Carpet and Airduct cleaning arrived on time. The first thing I noticed was the van and equipment was state of the art, clean and well maintained. We had our carpets and airducts cleaned. They were polite and professional and made it clear the procedures and steps that would be preformed in our home, they let us know how long it would take from start to finish. We have three cats and the carpets were in pretty bad shape, as well as, the air ducts. Our air quality was poor. Everything came out surprisingly clean. We've noticed the air smells fresher and it feels good to breathe clean air in our home. We are very pleased with their service.

Don and Mike showed up a few minutes early (Yes!). They went over our options. We selected sanitizer. They explained everything they were going to do and were efficient, even recommending better filters for the furnace.
Mike and Don were great. They both had a great sense of humor which was appreciated. Just having recently moved onto the home, we were concerned that we could not see where the dryer vented out. An old dryer had been dying and our clothes still were not drying with a new dryer. They quickly went to work cleaning the vent and showed me where the partially hidden vent was not in an ideal location. We moved into a new to us house almost two months ago. We have since ripped out the carpet and seem to have had risidual dander from it. Our baby was having a really hard time breathing, runny nose, and wheezing. I tried cleaning as best I could but still couldn't fix the problem. I called this company to come clean our vents. Dr Carpet and Air Duct Cleaning just finished cleaning our air ducts and carpet. I had no idea our heater was supposed to zap dust particles as it came into the unit. I have never heard ours do that! It is amazing the difference in air flow from our ducts, once all of that nasty dirt was removed. The house was built in 1964 and I do not think the ducts were ever cleaned! I also choose to give this company 5 stars! Scheduling was easy and prompt, they told me that they would give me a call at 7:30am to give me a time frame when to expect the workers to arrive. I got my call at 7:30 and was informed that the guys would arrive within an hour to my requested noon appointment, they arrived @ 12:30. The workers that came to the house Dean and Casey were very professional and good workers. They kept me informed of how the cleaning was going and how often you should have vents cleaned. They also found a connection that had a smaller tube between the venting which could cause problems since lint and stuff could back up at that spot. Another company I had clean the vents years ago never mention this, if they even saw it. I will definitely use this company again and I think you should give it a try.
This company did a good job for a reasonable price. I found an ad in a mail flyer that said air duct cleaning was $50 off based on a price of 20 cents per square foot. The ad also said dryer vent cleaning was $99. I called and was told the minimum charge for vent cleaning was $199 but, since my dryer vent was pretty short, they threw that in for free. So, for $199 I got all the vents cleaned, including the dryer. The whole job took about two hours. They vacuumed out the vents throughout the house, changed the filters in the furnace, and cleaned all the vent covers. We were very happy with the service and we can tell the difference in our heating system performance.

My dryer was shutting off repeatedly and my clothes were taking hours to dry and smelling terrible! I had just moved into my house and didn't know how it had been maintained, so I called Dr. Carpet to clean the dryer vent because a service technician told me that was a the problem. There was so much lint in my vent that it was at least 10 pounds of wet lint in his filter!! The guys were very nice and came to my house the day after I called, which is very impressive service!

I called to have Dr. Carpet clean 4 chairs that were to be placed in the house. He called and came early and cleaned the chairs an put them back in the garage to dry. He has done other work for us and remembered the house and our family. Like an old friend. Very pleasant and helpful.
Great company. Troy answered and had me scheduled for a cleaning in two hours. This house we bought had not been cleaned in at least 30 years. The air return had an actual one inch of debris stuck to the total circumference of a 16 inch duct for a length of at least 10 feet. IT WAS DISGUSTING. Dean came out in the van at the scheduled time on time. We both got on the same page for what needed to be done. Long story short....... First the air return. Then down each vent with just a vac. Then down each vent with spin brush with vacuum. He then cleaned the air handler, air cond coil and the squirrel cage fan area. Very reasonable cost compared to others in the area. I would guess what came out of air return was up to half pound. If I could post a pic you would not believe it. Thank you Troy and Dean for great work at a moments notice. We now have confidence that we wont get sick in our new home.

The people at Dr Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning were fantastic. Being new to Salem, I had no idea who to call for air duct cleaning. All I knew is that the light for the dryer for the duct came on while drying clothes and figured that it would be smart to have the whole duct system cleaned out. Trina was great when she answered the phone. She asked a lot of questions about the home and specifically about the heating/cooling system. She explained the fees at the end of the conversation asking if I was okay with what she was proposing. I was, and she told me that I would receive a phone call at 7:30 the morning of the appointment. The phone call came in right about 7:30, and the gentleman who came out to do the work arrived on time and did a thorough job of cleaning out the ducts, cleaning out the furnace filter and even showed how to access it as it wasn't obvious to me or my spouse. They discovered that someone had placed a cheesecloth in one of the grates, and from looking at it, it had been there for some time. The cloth had turned a darkish brown from the heat over the years. I have no idea why someone would have done that, but it could have caused big problems down the road. That, in my mind, gives this firm the five star rating all by itself. I also appreciated the followup phone call from Trina to make sure that everything was done to our satisfaction along with a followup email from Trina welcoming us to Oregon. What a great and wonderful company.

I was very happy with their service!!! Before I called Dr Clean cleaning I called one of their competitors for pricing. Then I called Dr Clean cleaning and spoke with Troy. He was able to save me $130!! We just replaced our furnace and air condioning system and wanted to get ducts cleaned before we used it. Troy said he would call in the morning with a scheduled time they would be out. I came home next day on my lunch break and they were already here and were nice enough to let me see a before and after ! I went back to work and told everyone how awesome this company is and if they need their ducts cleaned they know who to call !! Thank you for great service !!

We just had these guys in to do our bedroom wall to wall carpet and hall carpet runners. They could not have been better. In fact they did more than had to, without asking. For example they cleaned some of our public area hall stairs carpet without even asking. They actually under promised and over performed.
